Dealer says stock '06 tail lights won't fit on my '05?
Is this true? My friend is replacing his stock '06's and is going to sell them to me. I know after market companies make them and they fit but do the stocker '06's fit my car?
Thanks. |

That just shows you the people selling the cars don't know anything about them:icon22:

get sum 06's slap them on.. .take it back to the guy and smack him in the face and say BURN and make sure he gets a good look at ur tails as you drive away!
|
well technically you do have to modify the plug a bit or something, but yea dealers are retarded. BUt people are retarded to and it's easier to say no it won't fit than to have some idiot complain when they have to take an exacto knife to their lights.

I installed a set on my 04' last night. Took a total of 15 mins for both, including taping off the unused plugs on either side.Totally plug-n-play and a huge improvement over the 03-05 lights. I look at them as an added safety feature....
G-E-T T-H-E-M Aesthetically they are much better... http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1264/...31b347abe7.jpg Higher light output... http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1124/...f4c182de79.jpg http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1419/...02538d8c45.jpg I've learned to trust "regular" dealerships less and less when it comes to things like this... Funny thing, I ran into a dealership on Monday to grab something and some of the sales-people saw my Z and asked what kind of "rims" I had on it. I told them Volk GTS... They gave me such a blank and confused look.:icon8: I then replied... "You know, Volks Racing a sub-division of Rays Engineering the same makers of Nismo Products" ... They replied "Oh Nismo, that must mean Nissan Motors"... I just had to walk away...:icon22: |
Most times if you do a little research on here you'll find that you can go to the dealership and know more than the service writers. It's kinda sad actually.

VERY NICE! Esp 4 200 bucks:icon11: I want sum but nobody I know is selling them that cheap!
