I'm Soooo Fuking Mad!!!!!

So i wake up today, pulled my car out of my carport and somehow left the door partially open. All of a sudden the door swung wide open and i then heard a loud crack. In my head i thought "oh damn, i just dented my door". I then see the edge of my window glass pushed against one of the wooden posts by the carport.

I was relieved that the window didn't break and thought everything is ok so later i put down the window. It goes down really wierd and then got stuck. I opened the door panel, took off the complete metal siding in there to access all the glass and motor. Everything is so FUKED in there. I'm so damn mad. Then i see that my window tinted all scratched to hell from me putting down teh window and it rubbed against a sharp peice of metal that broke somewhere in there.

I looked in my service manual and it's to hard to comprehend to fix the problem so i called my local nissan dealer. It's going to cost a flat rate of 90 dollars to just see what's wrong with it and then go from there. I'm so mad right now. I think i'm going to faint. I'm going to pay atleast 500 bucks today for me being tired and dumb. And i also have to retint my driver side door. Someone calm me down.

yeah. i think i'm just mad that i'm basically having to pay a lot for something i already had. I think about all the stuff i can do with $500+. I can pay my car payment, buy new mods, buy clothes, buy electronics..etc..but no, i'm paying to get my window fixed.

i meant i backed my car out. The door was almost closed, but not all the way and i guess while i was backing up, the momentum swung it open without me even knowing.

idk how i could calm you down but that reall does suck. i'm sorry this happened, I'd be pissed too. no1 to blame but yourself tho, right?

joekool Aug 17, 2007 05:03 AM

oh **** hey, damn bad luck... it's only money and as long it's fixable and no-one was hurt.

Thanks Dio1988 and joekool.

i know you guys are jsut reading over the internet but i really have anger issues which i use to take medicine for. This really pissed me off. Di, you are right I think i'm so angry because it is my fault and i have no one to blame. I was actually talking to myself outloud and talking crap about myself. It's hard to explain.

I'm a bit more sane right now though. i think i'm just going to take a quick nap.

Dio1988 Aug 17, 2007 05:12 AM

if you can fall asleep it'll probably relax you a lot

I am kinda the same way. I have been surprisingly cool about some crazy stuff going down, but then all it takes is some stupid little thing when I'm in the wrong mood to set me off sometimes.

I didn't get mad when my jeep sh!t the bed and stranded me, but when this stupid kid I carpool with got gum on the floormats of my Z I almost flipped.

Sorry about your window, but you are eventually going to be cool with it, might as well start now.

Aren't there any reputable body shops in your area?
I would definitely get some other quotes & even from another Nissan dealership too!
Good Luck!

Sorry to hear, $hit happens to us all. Id go to a body shop to fix it, labor would likely be cheaper...Ive recently swapped my window motors and messed around with the window tracks, and evertything in there. Its really not to bad, look up the thread in the maintenance area with a step by step with pics that Integrity posted. You can fix it!!!
