is driver's seat unsymmetrical?
 

I just got aftermarket leather installed, looks great,, and like any new thing, I've been analyzing it with a little more scrutiny: just noticed a few things I noticed, and I was hoping some of you guys could check to verify this or if its just my seat.

Does the bottom cushion of the drivers seat seem slightly unsymmetrical. In other words, is there more side cushion on the inside (by the shifter) than the door side?
I also noticed that you can feel the metal side bars if you try underneath the bottom side bolster cushion, except on the inner (shifter) side due to their being more cushion on that side.

Finally, the center of the bottom seat doesn't align exactly with the center plane of the steering wheel.

So is all this the way it just is, or did my seat installedr misalign the seat cushionon the seat, or is it simple just wear and tear on the thickness of the outer seat cushion from entry/exit of the car over time?

I appreciate anyone who may have any 411 on this..
