actually the are white...
haha...it just came out that way in the picture...take a look at the other pictures of the lights...its not nearly as blue in real life...the interior lights are blue and i think that effected the way the camera captured the light on the outside lights in the above picture.

The cop CAN determine they look blue. He CAN write you a "repair" ticket. If it's dark, he CAN say he will impound/tow your car, because you cannot drive it with the lights being blue. But, that doesn't mean you can't park it and call someone.
I had an HP **** say the same thing to me about having neon in my back window long time ago. He pulled the same crap - telling me he had very right to go inside my vehicle and rip the "focking thing out" if he so chose to. I told him, "Sorry, officer. No you do not." And, I locked locked the door and told him I was going to park the car here over night and have someone come get me. End of story. He left me with a warning. I waited till he left and continued on my way. So...

hmm tough one...a friend of mine got pulled over for the same thing, all turn signals must flash orange, but it looks damn good!
also they can pull you over for not having an orange relector in the front of your car. All cars must have at least two ornage reflectors in the front of their vehicle due to safety reasons. Most cops dont enforce it but i know its a law...

Okay i semi retract my statement about that pic. The second pic came out way lighter then the first. Not blue, but still pretty distracting. Cops pull you over if your a distraction on the road. .. thats why they pull over rice!!! (not saying your car is rice.. i actually kinda like the mod.)

I would get rid of the under carriage blue, the combination of the two may be the deciding factor for the cops eye.

FYI - LED's have a range of colors even when they are thought to be "white". They are sorted by their place in the color spectrum. The premium LED's are held to the extreme tight tolerances, which I doubt the photos are demonstrating. The best LEDs currently are made by Nichia and there are a lot of really crappy LED's being made, so beware. There are also a lot of crappy fixures using LEDs. The biggest challenge is heat dissapation. If they do not design the product properly, the LED's will diminish and put put less and less light....rather quickly.
