Hey guys,
I am trying to find the right 350Z to buy and i keep getting my heart set on one and while trying to arrange p/u it gets sold. i guess its what i have to deal with by comeing from canada to the states to do it.
But i found a nice track one that i like but it has this wing on it that i really dont like the look of.
How much would it cost/take to remove and what could i resell it for?



any advice would be appreciated

That looks like a Veilside V1 or V3 wing and with it painted it shouldn't be hard to sell. You might search the classifieds to see if any have sold and how much.

My body shop quoted $425 to repaint my hatch and weld all the holes up if you wanted to go without a spoiler. Painting a spoiler will cost you about $150 if you are wanting to go with something else.

Yea if you dont like the wing I wouldnt get that Z.
There will be holes which need to be rewelded and then repaint your entire trunk.

the only spoiler i really like is the small lip that comes stock with the track package.
thanks for the info i figure if i sell it i could put some of the money towards repairing the holes. i know a really good body shop that should give me a good deal on it. so maybe ill show them and ask. its bolted on right... not molded?

i know but im have a terrible time trying to find a good z for a low price with low kms and preferrably a track package cause the brembos are so nice.

yeah it definietly is the V3 which sells for over 600
so if its painted and in good condition i could probably get rid of it for the cost of repairing the holes...

ok so i have been scanning the classifieds and cant find this particular wing anywhere it seems every company makes something that has v3 in it and every post says veilside somewhere. so im not have much luck.
if anyone could point me in the right direction i would appreciate it.
i tried posting in the classifieds to see what it would sell for cause this is the deciding factor on the car. but i haven been a member long enough

just for reference my bodyshop quoted me $700 to repair holes and paint (I had 11 holes.. don't ask lol) so I bought a CF hatch instead, that will be painted soon.

i gotta figure out how much i could sell the wing for cause im pretty positive to get the the holes filled i would pay about 400 or >

Wow, that is a god awful wing. Maybe price out a CF hatch, or other alternatives and see if it's financially worth it to you. I can understand why having that thing off is the first thing on your list.

Honestly guys I have the Veilside V1 wing and that isnt it I would have to say it is the V3 cause of how big it is. Everyone says that the V3 is for the widebody kit.

ya its definitly the V3 and it definitly needs a widebody kit... not a totally stock car... how many hole would there be?
