can't decide on spoiler

Got a black 08 Base Coupe w/ 19" black ADR Sterlings w/polished lips. Don't think I want a body kit as I live in Houston and it wouldn't last a month on our krappy roads. I am considering a Tein 3/4" drop, max...but still unsure I even want to do this. But I do want a rear spoiler/wing. I've narrowed my choices to: 1) Le Mans or Daytona spoiler from The Z Store, 2) Visage Type A or 3) Veilside Version 2 wing.

What do you guys think would look best out of these three w/out a body kit?

please dont even bother with aftermarket spoiler. You will have a hard time popping up ur trunk.
I had stillen and i ended up taking it off after a few months. It's too heavy to pop the trunk.

if you do, upgrade your trunk shocks

trunk shocks is another problem. stock trunk shocks are not strong enough to hold trunk with spoiler.

Popping up the trunk is another issue. When i use the remote control to pop the trunk, it pops. But unlike the trunk w/o spoiler, it's still locked. I have to push the button one more time and use my hand to lift it up.

Just a lot of problems

IMO, I think some wings don't flow well, unless you have a hole kit to follow up the body lines. Having a aggressive wing on stock car just over powers the stock body.

So far as after market shocks, just buy some to hold up the hatch. So what if you have to pop the hatch and pull up on it at the same time. If that's an issue, you must be real lazy.

Not if you are holding a box or something with both hands. :icon38:

I guess taking your suggestions on no aftermarket spoiler = 6 bones I can put towards my exhaust. Thanks for sharing your wisdom.

I've been in that situation before. If you know what the design of the Vizage wing looks like. I just use the lip that protrudes out and lift with my shoulders.
