I think it looks fine, after all the 350z was basically designed to be a japanese muscle car. And the louvers look nice on a muscle car. Its purely cosmetic, has no specific purpose. However the eye lids are cosmetic too, does that make them ricey? Short antennas are cosmetic, are those ricey too? Its whatever the owner likes. I don't agree with some of the ridiculous body kits some people on this site have on their Z's, I think the louvers are harmless compared to those wretched things.

whats the purpose? the only car that I can think of that it would work on and serve a purpose is the TS V12 Supra. They mounted the ic in the back of the car so smokey had them put a intake hole in replacement of the small window.
