Momo steering wheel hub for 350z? Air bag light delete?
Hi
Does anyone have/use/seen/sell the Momo steering wheel hub for the 350z(part#3516)?
If so, do you know if it comes with wiring for the air bag light delete? If not, how much is it to get the wiring?
Any quick answers would be appreciated! Thanks!

order the works bell hub and depending on the vendor, they will include the second airbag resistor you will need to turn off the light that is not included with the hub. the works bell only comes with one resistor :-(

I'm not exactly sure what you're talking about Adam, I have the MOMO hub and it came with the airbag light delete circuit and fit just fine. I've never had any issues with it at all.
Sorry about the bad pic, but its the best one I have that shows the hub:
heres another

this is what you need.
PM if you can't find it elsewhere online and i'll try to price gouge you if I can. or at least make some profit. (wednesday, feb 27 = honesty day)
edit: you'll need two since the 350z has a dual stage front airbag

perhaps they have revised their packaging then - I know when it first came out (which was before the Works Bell one), we got about 10 of them and ended up having to return them because of the poor fitment and lack of airbag fix. From that point on, we've only carried the Works Bell one, since its also the one intended to go with the quick release, which most of our customers tend to get at the same time. When we tried using the Momo one with the quick release I recall it had a weird gap that we couldn't get rid of, and which was an eyesore

Speaking of eye sore gap my short Bell has a gap as well. There is a white plastic factory plug piece that prevents sliding the accordian boot close enough to the housing to close the gap. I'm not sure if its the thing I plugged the gray plug into or what. Since I need to take it apart to fix my ground issue, I'll know what it is, that it hits.
Been trying to think of a way i could cut a perfectly round finisher piece to close the gap but have no idea how I could mock one up and have it perfect, yet.
never mind just figured out how I could make one easy.

Thanks for your input everyone!
The Momo Hub DOES come with the airbag delete wiring(YAY!). Fitment looks the best for my wheel(It is made for Momo wheels only. And specificly for the 350z. NOT universal...)
Lol, I don't even know what to say to that.... Other than if I needed those & for some strange reason I couldn't find them...$1.00 a piece, $1.50 shipping.. That's all they're worth, if that...lol... what's your profit? $0.05?

all i can say is, good luck.
you need a 2.2 ohm resistor. those can be found at radio shack. the ones i found came in a variety pack that had 99 other resistors i did not need. $14.95 if you choose that route.
if you want to add a fuse to ensure proper circuitry during an accident, you need to find a fuse (easy enough) as well as the wiring to connect the fuse to the resistor (little bit harder).
in either case, you can make one yourself for about $2.00, but it's a matter of finding the right parts.
i found it easier to just order one already made.
i'll be here if you need me
