Oh, and I like the 07 hood! I am in no intention of making my car a fake HR engine car, I just like the hood! hehehe

I was kidding. To my knowledge, there's no such thing as a 2005.5 350Z Regardless, the hood looks the same from 2003 to 2006.
I have a 2007. I think the hood is alright. I think it looks a little more aggressive than the 03-06 hoods from the front, but the non-HR hood looks much better from the side. In some pictures, the 'hump' is not very distinguished - therefore making the hood look very bland. In other pictures and in person, it looks pretty beefy from the front....and kind of awkward from the side
It looks pretty aggressive in this shot, but the rest of the exterior does a good job of complimenting it.

I agree with the 03 comment, my wifes mother has an 05 ppw & both of ours look basicly the same , changing the hood on the new Z's made me want to vomit, looks like someone slapped the front of the hood with a 2X4 .... Hell I dont like any of the Z convertables eather, when they made a ragtop Z, they murdered the flow of the exterior, but hey thats JMO

You can put the 07 hood on if you want, it will fit. But why do that when there are other great hoods that you can mount on your Z? Plus having an 07 hood doesn't mean you have the HR motor. Its kinda like putting an interfooler on. :P
