Wow, this is incredible.
I think the worst part about this/these situation(s) is that he is not coming forward onto the forum, let alone HANDLING the problem.
We get extremely busy with projects over here, and often times we've been in situations where things have gotten really tough or delayed. But you gotta keep your customers informed, be responsible and either get them another set of lights - or repair the damages.
I feel really bad hearing stuff like this. Best of luck, I hope things work out OK.

Damn. I was in touch with him last winter and primarily decided against it simply due to cost. I ended up doing them myself and am now in the process of upgrading them (clear lens, halos etc.).
The guy had iron clad reputation here. This turn of events has been unbelievable. Contact Subrwho if you haven't already. He buys used headlights to use for parts and might be able to hook up at a better price than even available online through our sponsors.

i'm actually from NJ... kinda unrelated but i was the victim of online credit card theft a week or two ago and had $500 stolen from me from right under my nose. seeing stuff like this happen just kinda makes my blood boil if ya know what i mean...
i suggest the OP call the local police.. judging by the other posts on the acura forums, it looks like he's from north arlington, nj. i think that once the local PD hear of all the problems that people have been having, they might be inclined to at least knock on his door and see what's up.
here's the number for the north arlington PD: (201) 991-4400. hope this helps..

a friend of a friend recently just had his 05 rsx type-s stolen from a local mall parking lot. i was doing some research on stolen parts, etc. and saw that in most cases, the police were at least willing to knock on a few doors if they suspect that the suspect is involved with stolen car parts. north arlington, nj is right by jersey city, nj and newark, nj which rank notoriously high for auto theft/vandalism. i wouldnt be surprised if there were a few chop shops in the area looking to buy some stolen parts...
anyways, the police in the area might be interested in this as they know how much auto-related crime there is in the area.. good luck to everyone affected by this...

F UCK YOU MR. ZIPPS!
I'll be sending the new ones to CIN CITY.
