Default How many times have you replaced your windsheild???

Just curious to know how many of you have replaced your windsheild due to rocks coming off the road and cracking the S*#$!!! out of your window? I personally have had to replace my 3 times already with all this road construction that is going on in atlanta!!!

I've never replaced mine. My siter lives in CO and she said she's had to replace hers 3 times within the year because of the elevation levels.

Not sure if this applies to everyone, but Allstate full coverage has a 0 deductible on 1 windshield per year.

I just had my rear windshield done for free.

^ name any company in any department of any market, and someone will have had a bad experience with them.

I've replaced my windshield once; had a chip in it. It wasn't spreading, but it was annoying me and the fix was cheap.

you could probably bargin down to $170 installed for a windshield. i do auto glass in the whole south cal, i probably shouldnt say this but just for you guys, the installers are getting these glasses for around 40-70 bucks. and they would wanna make atleast $100 from you.

My first busted windshield was scary as f*ck; a gravel truck tossed a rock completely thru my windshield, it hit the passenger seatback (which thankfully was unoccupied at the time), and landed in the passenger seat bottom. I had only been back from Iraq for a few months, and at first I thought for sure that someone was shooting at me, lol.

Second time it was much more mundane; a chip that started to crack and just kept getting bigger.
