What's the consensus on carbon fiber on Daytona Blue??
Haven't really seen many daytona blue Zs with carbon fiber goodies, and a thorough search only revealed one. I'm thinking of picking up the veilside v1 carbon fiber lip kit (only front and sides... not a fan of the veilside rear). What's your guy's opinion on how it would look? I know it really matters what I think of how it looks, but I'm having a hard time imagining it. The wheels on the car currently are SSR SP-01 Professors (Black spokes with stepped lip, almost similar to Work Meister S1s... many people have gotten them confused).

uh I think most people on this site would know what SSR Professors are ;) I think it will look fine, but as you said, ultimately the only person this should matter to is you.

exactly its your opinion... but my opinion... A nice even carbon fiber look on a daytona blue is one of my FAVORITES.... BAM gotta love it man.....
|
I think it looks nice too, but for some reason, only if your car is real low so it all kind of blends to the ground and looks real mean.

Looks good on certain cars.

DB and CF looks good (imho) if you can do it right..
|
um...no
|
Would Nismo rears and veilside v1 sides and front lip be doing it 'right'? :icon39:
I wish someone had already done it with day blue so I could get a little preview haha ... Thing is, I dont want to buy carbon fiber, while ending up having to paint over if I don't like it; I would rather buy urethane in that instance. |
the cocensus is that if you like it and you think it looks good on your car, then get it despite what others may say
|
db and cf= awesome!!! cf looks good on any color imo

Here's exactly what you are looking for. This was my car last year....

it can be done to look good. there is one guy on the forum that had a db with alot of carbon fiber. it was really too much cf. i think he was just missing the rear fenders or something. as long as you don't go too far and just leave random pieces cf, it can be done tastefully.
