nismo V2 front q's
sorry if you expected something else but i got a couple questions
just picked up a nismo V2 front off a user, for one, is it easy to smooth over the nissan emblem area at home? what would i need? is it something that any decent person can do? and if so where can i buy the things i need to do it? like the fiberglass and what not....and also does the intake duct that it comes with work with injen CAI and if not , is there a way to make it work? and then lastly, is there anything that i can spray on the back of the bumper to possibly help hold it together in case the bumper is cracked or anything? like spray on glue or something? just curious... thanks guys appreciate it |
anybody?

The body shop your gonna have paint and put it on will be able to fill it for you. If you don't know what your doing ull probly just mess it up, no offense. If the bumper is fiberglass nothing will help it not crack on impact. If its polyu then it has quite a bit of give and flex before it would become dmged.

hmmm...ic....will they charge me extra for that? i was just trying to keep my costs down as much as i can ...so i was trying to do as much as i could myself, i am mechanically inclined, but i can honestly say i have not worked with fiberglass...but i want to learn!! haha

Body work is a territory where you get what you pay for. It's not just slapping a caliper on a rotor and bolting it up. Theres a reason the good guys get paid a lot, they probly will charge you a bit extra because it is more work for them.

U can try filling it in yourself with some bondo. Youll have to research techniques and process to get it right.
