That's a mean front lip....who makes it?
Don't know if it's practical to have it for a daily driver though...

I hate to admit it, but that belongs to someone down here, I saw it at the dealer the other day, I recognize it by the add ons but also by the Skyline wheels he has, that rear wing just made me cringe, the guys us into the car show scene.

canards don't do jack i bet.

It'd be interesting to see some wind tunnel tests done on that kit. Heck, I'd like to see wind tunnel results of *any* aftermarket body kit. :)

Check out the bottom of the lip it has two adjustable rods so you can lower the ends of the lip further.

there is a certain point in which adding an addition splitter, and/or extending it further out on the bottom of the car--will not do any more downforce. typically two/three inches extended past the front bumper is far more than enough, this is really over kill... the original Cwest lip is great...
but you would probably get better results if you actually had the front end of the car ~0.5" lower than the rear, as to create a better airflow underneath the car.. think venturi effects.. air flow goes faster through a narrow opening rather than an larger one. hence the true reason for lips like this one is 1. trap the air flow that hits the nose and use that air flow going "down" to keep the front of the car down 2. if angled, it works like a diffuser... |
OMG... Its a cattle-catcher...
