Suntek Tint done - Time until it's okay to roll down windows?
 

Hey guys, just got some tint done. They said 2 days until I can roll down my windows, but I've read it takes a week or two until it's fully cured. When do you recommend is a safe amount of time until I can roll my windows down?

PS. I got 35% Suntek, I'm worried it might be a little too light, no one carried 25%, only 18% which seemed too dark for me. Anyone here have pics of 25% or 35% Suntek?

2011, do it.

I usually wait 24 hours after tinted to roll windows down, though 2011 might be a bit much.

3 days sounds about right

I've always done the same.

1-2 days is fine...at least with the 2 tint jobs I have gotten done.

Make sure you put tape over the window buttons though. Out of habit 20 minutes after I got tint done I rolled my window down as I would always normally do. Some how random BS that I do over rode that fact I just tinted my windows.

Wait 3 days to roll them down and don't clean the inside of them until that time.

3 days is what I've always been told.

I waited a week last time...but I don't drive my car daily, so...

I wait an hour or two in the summer, really , it depends on your climate.

you just got em tinted.... I'd leave them up.... why hide your tinted goodness :thumbup:
