so is that rated by "tint" levels? like would that be 5% or 10%?
I think itd be really nice on a white set of reflectors. get rid of that amber color all together but not be quite as bright. itd be expensive tho which is never good, the white reflector costs alot just to cover it up. |
is this the same piece you sent me?
|
Yes Victor, it's the same one I sent you;).
ares-On a scale of 1-10, 10 being the darkest, these are about a 7. I have a lighter tint which is about a 3. Bat™ |
can you get the stuff in a chrome/reflective tint color?? a lot of people are looking to replicate the Z prototype with tha aluminum inserts with square holes, I wonder if this could be done with a chrome tint overlay. could be interesting

good idea with the chrome color. can you buy chrome or mirror tint and use that?
|
I have chrome vinyl, it's not a tint though.

Sorry if its been posted before, but how are these overlays applied and can they be removed and reapplied easily?
|
Just peel and stick. I suggest using soap and water to help position the overlays correctly. Work out the water and air bubbles with a soft damp cloth. Finish it up with a sgueegy. They acn be removed if desired, but not reapplied.

if left on for a long while does it become more difficult to remove?
|
Should be fine. I suggest heating up the Overlay prior to removing it, makes it much easier;).
