rear sideskirt cuts/outdent?
 

Hey guys I just wanted to ask what the purpose of these cuts/outdents with slightly different paint are and why a few 350z have them and most don't. One of the 350z I'm looking at has them is why I ask, pretty sure they are stock too. I've seen some other sports cars with these cuts too, were there guards here or something?

That is clear plastic to stop rock chips goofy!!!!

Isn't kind of a weird spot to put it since the rocks would fly towards the other side, not the middle of the car? Is it like a sticker I can remove or is it on there for good?

Yes you can remove it. It is clear bra, leading edge tape, or "helicopter tape" as racers call it. I removed myne because the previous owner had apparently hit something and gouged it very deeply, the paint was relatively unaffected.

You may need to use some adhesive removal product after peeling it off. Bug and tar remover that is safe for clear coat works well for this. GL:thumbup:
