Default Do Luck owners lend me your ears.

I have a doluck wide body kit. My question is how do you install the rear wide body fender? Its a VIS brand, so is this truely a wide body it doesnt really seem like it is?

also if I decide to not put on the wide body pieces, will the front sides and back fit without this fenders?

All I know is the front sides and rear WILL fit without the fenders. Essentially what the fenders pieces do is flair out near the top but go back to stock width near the seams where it meets the rear, front and side.

I dont know about install of the fenders though.

I have taken it to like four shops they want to cut the fenders all I see is alot more $$$$
and I know the saying if you cant play with the big boys go home.

They wont do it because they claim it will damage the cars structure. just a bit confused if I should keep it or just trade up or sell

So u think the sides rears and front will fit fine without the fenders? I just don't want to go through the hassle of buying new rims which are gonna be more expensive and throwing down cash on something I know I won't be able to put back to stock or get any value u back since the car is old and high milage.

The front bumper and rear bumper looks like it matches up with OEM fenders.
If you really want that aggressive look, the side skirts would complete it.

But damnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn, look at that body work!
It looks like too much trouble to be honest.
For some people it's worth it, but wow, that's too much work for me.

Fenders have to be cut.

But since you bought a replica...you're only gaining 10mm. That's a lot of work to only gain 10mm.

The authentic is 30mm wider.

after thinking about it for a while my car is worth **** because of milage forking over 5-6l to do this will be a waste because I will never get it back so I decided to just put the kit on without the widebody fenders, and just sell the fenders but I am not sure what they are worth.

+1 also since its a replica fitment on every other piece might be off as well.

1- then you should not even think about the world of widebody. Not at all. You are correct to just move past it..
2- yes, if its to be done right, its costly, sounds like not much a widebody tho
3- you bought VIS, not Do luck.. HUGE dif, Ive been there. Mounting points will certainly differ from authentic, VIS loves to do that.
4-the fact the car is old and high mileage means its already not going to give you much return on a sale
5- fenders will not be worth much, sell em for the price that gets the most emails from my350z or craigslist.
Sorry man.

Bmc u don't have to be sorry bro! I'm with u it hit me like a ton of bricks today! I got quoted 6k in one shop and 5k in another, I love my car but don't see myself putting out 5-6k on this work instead one shop will fully paint the car paint my Mirrors black and roof put on the front sides and back for 3k I'm not sure but the price sounds good, I think. The rest of the money I guess I can put it into my house or something.

But I would like to thank everyone with ur input they were all great!! Now to see if I want to trade the kit with a member I know for his v2 kit named law or just try selling the fenders, but not sure if they are big on demand.

Not worth the trouble at all and it's going to be a ton of work for you to get those to fit properly

+1 for the V2 kit.
The kit you have now is just way too much trouble.
I just got my v2 painted and I couldn't be happier!
