03 Z Power Window's Help?
 

Okay guys, so on my 03 Z my power windows don't work. It was like this when I got it. So today I took on the task to fix it. I took apart the panels and took out the motors. I tested them on my buddy's Z to see if they worked, and sure enough, both work. After further investigation, I have an 06 window switch. But I also tested out my window switches on his and they work as well.

So, my question is, would having a different switch affect if the windows work or not?

fuse?

there is not power window fuse so I've been told.

There is a 40A fuse in the battery compartment that could affect the power windows (among other things) in the service manual it is called "40A fusible link (letter F , located in the fuse and fusible link box)"

that is something I find from another thread.

yeah i read that as well. id also be curious to know what else that fuse affects.
