So how do you wire the fogs in? The ones I am looking at are 12v / 55W. I want them to come on when I turn on the parking lights. I was thinking of just tapping into the small parking bulb, but I believe I will be pulling too much wattage from that wire if I do that.
I don't want a switch in the cabin - I made that mistake once and bought a lot of batteries because of it.

Shouldn't be too difficult to wire to the cabin. I'm thinking of replacing the blank by the VDC with another button. Perhaps get an extra from Nissan, keeping the interior stock looking. I can't see how it'd be a safety issue as long as it was done right.
Regarding the 5.5" Hellas...all I've been able to find that size are CATZ SR series.

If you are worried about them staying on b/c you forget to turn the switch off in the cab -- just wire the switch to the ignition (on/off). That way, they turn off when you turn the car off -- even if the switch is still on.

Fog lights are used to let other people see you better, not to improve visibility...

Aren't you guys worried that road debris might damage/crack the foglights? I have permanantly removed the 2 plastic pieces that are behind the slats when I installed the aftermarket grill. So I guess I have to think up some other way to attach the fogs.
