Fog Light Modification
Has anybody thought of either fabricating or know of any foglights that will fit our cars in place of the front bumper side reflectors?
I know most fog lights are circular or oval, but I really think that if the rectangular shaped vertical fog lights where to be "pushed" out a bit, they might look quite pretty

I am in the process of purchasing some HID LIGHTS
and make a housing for them and mount them behind the grill like this.
I am going to make the housing out of sheet metal and make mounting
bracets.

A couple of places on line sell what they are calling "350Z Fog Lights"...none of them show them installed however.

Looks like some of them would fit behind the grille nicely.

Those lights look hot.
Makes your Z look original.
That'll look awesome in the rear view mirror of drivers as
you pull up on them.
Looks like this might be my next non performance mod.

hidfogs
using a pair of Hella 5.5" round conversion housing w/H1 hidset. by cutting a perfect round hole on the two plates inside the grill, flushmount the housing from the inside(behind plate). for angle adjustments, the plate is held by two plastic clip on top to the bumper reinforcement, therefore, improvise a strap-bracket on the bottom of the plate to move in or out. before all this can happen, u must re-locate the oil cooler sat behind the right plate. total etimated time;5-6hrs. PM me for more details..good luck!!

they do look good; very nice install. plus mounted nice and low; probably great in the fog.

i saw big-al's car in person, and i can definitely say that its one of the nicest zs out there.
big-al's headlights are very similar to the color in the pic. they are a lot bluer than the oem hids. they look really nice. his foglights closely matches the color of the hids, although he mentioned to me that he is going to change the foglight to better match the headlight, although his car looks perfect to me as is.
