Strange Key Fob Programming Journey
HI all
I have 3 new keyfobs for my 05 roadster that I have been trying to program.
In following the typical instructions (locking the door, inserting the key multiple times) I never see the turn indicators flash.
But, if I lock the door, turn the key to ACC (or ON) and then press any key one of the fobs, I get two flashes.
Unlock and relock the door, press any key on the first or one of the other fobs and get two flashes.
But then, turn the key off, unlock the door, get out, close the door, no response to any of the fobs.
Its like the car is stuck in fob registration mode. It starts and runs fine just cant get the fobs programmed.
Anyone seen anything like this?

this car only came with 1 key, no fob's.. .purchased 2 new fob's on amazon and attempted to program them. did the lock/key thing.. no luck with the flasher flashing... But one thing that i notice is that, when the key in the ignition, off position, and I lock the car door from the inside, door closed, the lock with go back to the unlock position...that shouldn't happen should it? Kind of like what it should do with the key in the ignition, door open attempting to lock the doors, that it pops right back to unlock....
