cubby lid won't fold flush
 

On my '04 cubby lid, i can't get it to lift up and fold in flush with the rest of the cubby. Instead it just lifts up and sticks right out as if on a hinge almost acting as a sun visor instead of folding in flush. Is there anything i can do to get the thing to lift up and fold in flush with the cubby hole. Does anyone have any ideas?

I believe only the cubbys with navigation open flush. All other cubbys just open up i believe.
