CF interior door switch covers + barrel covers
 

I'm going to get some CF door switch covers and matching door barrel covers to go over that crappy soft rubbery material that scratches so easily! I've been looking into EVO-R brand; just wondering if any of you who have done this would recommend EVO-R or a better option brand? I've looked around here and online for better options. Thanks.

Sand, Paint Nissan metallic black, clear coat, Reinstall.
 

I did the following:
Low cost just requires elbow grease.

Sand each one, Paint with Nissan metallic black, clear coat with Duplicolor perfect match clearcoat, Reinstall.

If you ever scratch them, it's an easy redo. http://englishcolor.com/ has the right paint codes if you are having a hard time finding paint.

Listen to Sickboy101, do it right.

Or use Plasti Dip.

I bought a pair of Evo-R door switch covers and they are great. OEM fit and easy installation. Looks like they came with the car from the factory.

Don't go with Evo-R. It might be the cheaper option, but at the end of the day it's just covering the stock part. Like suggested before, you should have Tony custom do your parts. This will ensure fitment and quality.

If, however that's too pricey and you're eager to spruce up your interior, I have two suggestions. You should either cover it with a vinyl wrap (they have glossy cf wrap if you like that look over di-noc) or you could pull them out and repaint them to match your cars color, which usually looks quite nice.

Of course, this is your car but these are just my suggestions. Again, I highly suggest you have Tony wrap the pieces. They won't look raised or risk bad fitment unlike the Evo-R products which are hit and miss.

I'll have to think about it all; I don't want to do my whole interior or the "wrap" would surely be the way to go; I may check into that like for the switch covers which can be removed/shipped, but I don't think the barrels come out and would need to just be covered which would probably be ok just as protection from the dumb scratches in that soft black material in those 2 areas. I'd love to have that Tony guy do a bunch of his work on my car if I could!

Door latch barrels
 

Yes, the door barrels come out the back side of the door panel latch area. They are screwed on with 4x phillips heads. New ones (barrel finishers) are about $15 each from your local dealer. CF wrap would look good on a pair of new finishers. Good luck with your interior refinish.

Thanks for that info. Would the whole inner door panel need to be removed in order to access the screws?

Yes. The door panel must be removed to gain access. If you break the plastic clips that hold the panel on, they too are cheap to replace. Just watch out for the sail panels that hold the tweeters. They are a pain to work around. The door latch cable are near the top of the door panel so watch for them too. Work from the bottom rear of the door panel forward. The screws under the switch panel also must be removed. The passenger door handle comes out with bolts too. Good luck.
