well the tear down began.. I also removed the carbon from the center waterfall and trimmed the center bar and mounted the 3d printed trim piece for my touch screen.. so light.. I love it.

There will never be a final product. It is constantly evolving.

I do hope to get to the point that I can simply enjoy it.. so that way new front bumpers are only required due to the 405 eating them on trips.

Would love to get the leather and alcantara all done this year so I can feel a bit more luxurious in it, and to get the standalone set up so that it runs well and doesn't freak out on me. IF things go badly w the AEM, it simply pulls back and reduces power etc.

we are on the home stretch here folks.. got the diff lashed and installed, sub-frame bushings are in place, the entire front suspension is reassembled and awaiting a new torque wrench so I can spec it out... and now we just pulled the rear knuckle and upper arms to burn out and replace the bushings there as well, and then it can all get put back together with the new voodoo13 arms.

Also picked up new arp 3 inch studs for the rears due to the ridiculous negative offset, and already has ichiba extended fronts.. 2 inch I believe.

we enlarged the drain orifice on the oil pan a bit too, and are making a custom fitting tube. Hopefully this helps, but it seems as though the best way will be to tap the UPPER pan at some point later on.

hey, i know you mentioned earlier that the cadillac calipers will be very difficult to mount. Did you find some type of solution and what did you end getting "machined".

Very curious, since I know there was a small group/company on FB that was trying to come up with solutions to this and ended up seriously chopping up the spindle to a point where it looked structurally compromised:

that's what I used. I actually had them do the machine work there and also had them tig the bracket in place fully as well, so its all been welded up on top of being bolted up.
The pics are accurate, its not optimal, but when in hand, its much less scary looking... there's a lot of metal in that area, and I don't foresee any issues tbh, and if and when I do face issue, ill easily sell this knuckle and caliper set up and just get a Mercedes /AMG 8 pot front.

The caliper setup looks very interesting. Looking forward to seeing the final install and your comments on the braking performance.

Got one side of th caliper set up mocked , and we ran into some issues.. its only meant for a one piece rotor, not a 2 pc w a different sweep and hat area. Pad overhang is bad, and wont work.. so.. we've come up w some differ solutions.. Ill post more about this as I go.
