Uppper central radio gauges consol swap

I have a 2008 350Z Touring Coupe. The DPO (dear previous owner) smashed the upper central radio gauge consol . I have been given the same part from a 2005 350Z.
Will it fit?

the interior from 2005 to 2008 didn't change much, so it should fit.

It didn't fit. Nissan radically changed the dash components for 2006 to 2009.
