Headlights issue

Okay so i purchased the car and it came with some shitty aftermarket Halo headlights so i ended up selling those and i purchased a new set of headlights off a part out 06 Z , They are the 06-08 style headlights oem with the bigger projector , the drive side works fine but passenger side bulb won't turn on , i swapped bulbs from side that worked , and swapped ballasts from side that worked but passenger side still won't work , do i need maybe a bigger amp fuse or is my wiring from the fuse to connector messed up somewhere ? only 2 things i could think that could be wrong with it , Thank you !

You may have a faulty Headlight Control Module. I recently replaced the passenger side module on my 350z. The part costs from $350 to $500.

Is it bad to put a higher amp fuse for headlights than the car was intended for ? Such as putting a 20 amp instead of the 15 amp and 10 amp that are used for the High and Low beam from factory ?

not bad if you want to burn something up... they have specific fuses for a reason

The projector being larger has nothing to do with the electrical draw. The d2s bulb and the ballast should be the same. If a larger fuse allows the headlight to stay on, you've got a short or a problem somewhere. A larger fuse will allow you to start a fire or best case scenario burn out the components the fuse is sized to protect.

I would try another headlight 1st, and check the basics like wiring and connectors: any pins missing, broken or bent? and go from there.

Damn, it's almost the cost of a new OEM one.
