Default Help with driver side handle (or passenger side)

So the handles on these cars use a rod that has a bunch of bends. In one bend the metal is horizontal and rests on this little blue bushing that has a semi-circle indent for the rod.

After 202K miles the bushing has worn down and doesn't allow the rod to push that bushing all the way down to actually open the door.

Does ANYONE know what that part is called and the part number and where to get the little guy. I've looked on several parts sites that have diagrams and nothing about that silly bushing.

I was able to spin it 180 degrees so that might be some time

I don't think you can purchase just the bushing (door lock rod clip). For things like this, I have seen aftermarket kits in variety packs.
Something like
THIS THIS
.

Thanks, but I am talking about this bushing within the door itself

Can't really tell much from that pic. But I'm pretty sure you won't be able to purchase just that bushing. Is that pic pointing to a subcomponent of the door actuator?

it is the bushing that sits on top of the door actuator....the handle rod goes into that....if you push down on the blue thing it opens the door...I'll check to see if there is a blow out of the door actuator..

Indeed part of the door lock mechanism....the part number for the WHOLE thing is 80503-AR200

Maybe a nissan dealer might have better access to part numbers than we do...for JUST the blue thing

I did some digging on this. Looks like there should be a black plastic piece that snaps into the blue piece with the door handle rod. Nissan does not sell only those parts, if they do, they are not listed. Your best option is to pull an entire actuator from a salvage yard or on ebay (even a broken one will do so long as that piece is intact), since a new/complete OEM unit is over $200.
Cheers!

It's crap like this where a 3D printer would be perfect. I've been considering purchasing one now that both the materials technology and accuracy/resolution has matured.
Cheers!

Indeed...however EVEN if I DID have a 3d printer...I wouldn't have the skill set to put the info into CAD,,,,I believe they have these cameras now that take measurements in 3d to quickly import that into CAD.

I hope Z1 or others get in on mfging those :-)
