to anyone with experience with bat's tail light overlays
 

i saw bat's website for his tail light overlays and i really like the look of them. $30 is in my price range.

i was concerned with the possibility of air bubbles trapped under it during application and the legality of them, as far as being dot approved.

i know this has probably been discussed in the past, so i apologize in advance. also, thanks in advance for any help.

Bat says bubbles are not a problem with application that use of soap and water and keep the overlay warm. You just have to know what you are doing, and be patient.

Last bubbles that cant be moved, he suggested popping with a pin.

Best suggestion that most people who have done these is to buy two sets up front, cause you will most likley screw up the first time, and seriously consider gettting a local tint company to install them. They have the experience and patience to do it right.
