Looks Carbon Fiber To Me!....black center council
Had the center council painted black.
Because of the textrure of our interior it looks very carbon fiber!Let me know what you guys think.
I wanted to just get some overlays but getting Bat to answer any of my emails is about as easy as solving a Rubik's Cube. Its too bad too because he makes some amazing stuff. That reminds me...I need to get some carbon fiber pieces...can someone send me a link to a good place.
In the end I was happy with my decision. Very inexpensive mod.
Also added some new speakers!

Thanks DJ. Switches are a little ghetto fantabulous I know
but they control the LEDs behind the Brushed aluminium Z panel.
I think it looks good but I guess now that you guys mention it that it could be looked at as kind of glossy.
Anyone else on this board doen this mod?

I like it. Did you have it done professionally or did u do it yourself? What was the prep process for this? Obviously you didn't sand it. I had wanted to do this myself but smooth. Then i decided against it. As a matter of fact i was driving today wondering how it would look if i sprayed mine with the Duplicolor flat black. Mine is an 03 so my console is more gray than the 04's which is blacker. Anyway, i'd appreciate it if you could let me know how the console was prepped. Thanks!

Had it done at a car audio place for $50.00
I think all my friend did was take it off...spray it...clear coat it...and put it back on.
I have an 03" as well. Mine is a Super Black. I must say I am very happy with the outcome but maybe I am just easy to please.
As I said I wanted to Bats interior products but we kept having trouble connecting.
He probably has 6 PMs from me and 3 emails but no luck.

Hmmm interesting. How duruable do you think it will be in the long run? It wasn't primed at all? I don't know what i would have to do with the duplicolor vinyl dye. I just don't want it to end up flaking off. Ya know?
