Mods, can we find out if BOBMANFOO is using any other sn's on this forum?
 

I don't know if this is the correct place for this, but here goes anyways. BOBMANFOO scammed me out of a large sum of money, and disappeared from the forum after I confronted him about it. He's also disabled his email link, so I have no way to get ahold of him.

Is it possible to find out by way of IP address if he's registered under any other screennames on this forum? ANY help would be greatly appreciated.

First off, hopefully you kept records of your transactions.

Second, contact your local police and give them what information you have.

Police won't do anything abou this. I have tried on a previous transaction. They said talk to the police where the scammer lives. Of corse they said too bad as well.

Yes this board can see if users with the same IP are logging under different user names
if badmofo is smart he can find a way around it. then its up to the mods to watch for IP schemes of users what matches closest
