What's up with the Vibrant Media Intellitxt everywhere?
 

? i just noticed the freakin ads in a majority of our posts..

for example on the main forum if you type engine, intake, exhaust, these are probably underlined

did the my350z sign up for Vibrant Media’s IntelliTXT service. imho its a freakin annoyance.

We all b'tched about the green words, but have just come to accept them. Begrudingly.

Yeah, I guess I've gotten used to seeing them too since they don't seem to stick out as much. I assume that's not exactly the intended result the various companies using this form of advertisement were hoping for. Hopefully they'll discover that they aren't getting the bang for the advertising buck they're paying for, and we can all go back to a "clean" forum.

What kills me are those damn smileys with sound. :mad: Can I enjoy reading this forum without having to hear that crap?

bummer. Search worked, but, there is no solution .. Wish I could turn off the vibrant stuff.

Use Firefox with adblock plus. I get no ads or links.

I went searching after I made that post and found a Firefox add-on called "NoScript". Installed - and now I'm happy.
