Gear head's only

Kyle

Sometime back, You had a section that said Kyle's garage.
I think, Now would be a good time to open it up with people that want to develop the VQ.
I believe this should be a "think tank" of information, on the development, And on the mods that are available on the market now. Plus with what is being worked on.
I personally know many of the proto types, and Items being worked on. The future, and 2006 will be a big year with what has been discovered so far. Destiny is a wonderful thing.
Its time to help all new VQ owners on there quest with the mods.
Thinking out side of the box will make Your" sites a positive place to visit. Now for the Negative. I just do not want to here any more BS here about all this gay" crap that people think is funny. I want to build a better car. That's it. No more jokes about other people sex life's. Lets get back on track, Please?

cool man.... i actually took the lower plenum and cut all the runners out of it with a sawzall, big die grinder and a dremel.... i can tell it is going to be sick once i get the right amount of fuel to it, i will be sacraficing a little bit of torque for a lot of horsepower, i also matchported the lower runners and opened them up a bit, the stock lower runners actually have a nice little lip on them on the head side of them from the factory, right now i am running really lean and need to figure out a simple way of either raising the fuel pressure a couple psi or getting bigger injectors and tuning them down to the right place so my A/F is good...

just trying to unleash some of the potential power on these engines without spending millions of dollars on useless mods

anyone have any ideas how to bump up the stock fuel pressure without adding a 1200 dollars return fuel system...

i was thinking about adding a walbro pump, but that raises it 20 psi, then figuring a way of acutally lowering the fuel pressure when i do it, i was told that the walbro doesnt really like the returnless fuel system and possibly will quit working cause it likes to have a return system

thanks and hope to hear some feedback

here are a couple pics, this was an experiment so it is not the finished product, i filled the holes it made with some epoxy to keep it from having any vacuum leaks, if i could get it to run better i would definently get it welded with a tig welder using aluminum, hopefully i can figure it out....
