REQUEST for Moderators. Known buggs in Z's year by year !
 

Since I'm a newbie and i'm looking for new 350z and since you guys run this Top 100 questions. I notice that one important thing would be great addition to those top 100 questions.

With knowledge of entire board and it's owners would be a good idea to put a year by year 2003-2008 list of what KNOWN productions issue appear in each perticular year so buyer can choose least buggy year.

2003 for example theathering issue, tranny, window motor etc etc
2004
2004.5
2005.
2006 floor clutch.
2007
2008

Is this something that can be accomplished ?????
That would be SOOOOOOO much helpfull for any new buyer. Me being one i would appriciate your input so much.

Welcome. Sounds like a good idea but what you will get is anecdotical comments. Hardly valid for comparison. Want unbiased reliability data? Check Consumer Reports.

SEBASS, why don't you take the time to do the research and start a thread compiled with the information you're seeking? It would be greatly appreciated and we would love to add that to our Top 100 questions thread.

The moderators/admins are not here to do all the legwork for you, with respect to research. We are here to ensure that the forum runs as smoothly as possible.

there is no cut and dry list of problems with 350z's. some people are still driving their 2003 350z with zero problems, and some people have gotten lemons that simply cannot be fixed.



same is true for most every kind of car on the road.

but I agree, if you think we need a thread like this, then compile some reliable evidence and we will sticky it for you

the best sticky threads come from interested members, not moderators. we hardly have enough time to spot all the existing problems with the forum.

This is a great idea .... I am gonna start searching threads and gather all the info on my computer.... once I have enough, i'll make a post ...from there, people can just add more problems ....once we have a nice reasonable list, that could be added to the top 100 questions ...it's gonna be time consuming but will help out many new buyers ....and it should be stickied to the "Buying/Leasing" forum...
