How To Cancel Membership

Howdy folks,

I no longer own my Z and have no use for a membership with this website. I just received an email stating I would be auto renewed. Seeing how I no longer desire a membership, I would like to cancel.

However, it seems the website itself has no cancel option:dunno:. Can anyone direct to where I must go to cancel?

Thanks!

You're in for life. That's how they get you.

Cancel all your credit cards and move to Canada.

AshMan 11-28-2013 08:44 AM

Or Australia.

Head to the other border... Mexico.

That's fine, that's what credit card disputes are for. One claim to the BBB should take care of the problem if the moderators won't do their jobs.

Yet another reason for leaving this website.

OP, are you going to spread wisdom on another site? The one best suited because of the new car you bought? If so, then go . . . spread your knowledge of that other vehicle, then when everyone has asked and answered every question about that vehicle and you find yourself once again just goofing with insiders. . . buy your next car, koont.

StuLax18 11-28-2013 10:08 AM

SC40 is this you?

my350isblack 11-28-2013 10:09 AM

LOL but actually how do you cancel?

350zHalleck 11-28-2013 10:14 AM

It's like the hotel California. Once you check in you can never leave.

You need to go through Paypal and remove the recurring subscription within your account settings

:flex: Waizz to save the day.

Auto renewals, phantom charges, zombie subscriptions etc are the bane of credit card use on the Internet. Woods, when you are logged in to this site a ‘contact us’ button will show at the bottom of the page. There is a box for registration/account problems. Use that to ask for a refund. Also your credit card company will reverse the charge if need be, don’t bother with the BBB there’re kinda useless.

For future purchases, note that all the credit card issuers will now make a Virtual Account Number available to you that is different from the one you normally use. Then you order from the Internet (or even over the phone) using this account number, which looks just like a regular account number—whoever you’re buying from won’t know the difference. If you set it up to expire well before your subscription auto-renews…well, it won’t. The site you’ve subscribed to will treat it just like any other expired credit card number, and they’ll contact you for a new one. Then you can decide whether you want to give them one or not
