Good question. Yes, a 2006 G35 transmission is identical to the transmission in the 2003 350z car. The early transmissions for the 2003 and 2004 350z cars and the G35's were faulty. If you install a new transmission, make sure it is a CD009 or CD00A model. Previous models will display synchromesh problems and "notchy" shift points.
