What's my best FI option for a true daily driver?

Sorry, I'm sure this has been asked before, but the search function here is pretty beat.

I thought about buying another car, but I'd be bored driving some clunker. I'm looking for an FI option for my daily driver to run on my stock motor.

So I'd like whatever provides the most reliability and the least maintenance. Also, installing and tuning should be done all at once and not have to be constantly adjusted within reason. Some boost or computer setting changes with the weather now and again is fine, but I turbo'ed a CRX once and I had to adjust it all the time to get it to run right and I don't want to do that again.

My other stipulation is budget, I'm looking to spend no more than $7k for everything.

So far I am considering:
Vortech Supercharger (though I don't like the tap the block thing)
APS single turbo kit (when it comes out)

I would go NA, but on this car it's so damn expensive and yields so little FI seems the only way to go!

I love turbo, but I had a bad experience in the past turbo'ing a car that did not come from the factory turbo, hopefully the kits for this car are a little less "custom".

Also, if you're running a stock motor and have put several FI miles on it please report in!

I plan on purchasing a plenum or spacer to help aleviate the 5/6 cylinder lean condition.

Vortech SC with 7000+ miles.

Vortech for over 6000 miles, daily driver, no real problems.

Don't worry about tapping the block. I was worried about that too, but it was really over-rated. Not that bad at all.

About the APS, That's tough. If the price is the same, and you don't mind paying for an install, or you're able to do it yourself......you get the point. I would probably prefer tht APS single. (based on projections)

That said, the Vortech is a great system, It delivers what it claims, it's tunable, upgradeable, and dependable for a daily driver.
