Again, nice vid bro.

I noticed that the car is running a bit lean. Any more on this issue?

I saw the graph for a split second but couldn't make much out. I'm surprised it's hitting that much tq. Much more than mine's showing. Got the graphs?

nice video.....I'll second the A/F...never seen it drop below 12 to 1....12.5 to 1 most of the run

backagain Jul 29, 2005 01:43 PM

yea, it runs strong, waiting on him to scan the dyno charts.

AZ350Z Jul 29, 2005 01:51 PM

So what were the HP & TQ #'s, I never did see them.

backagain Jul 29, 2005 02:04 PM

i've posted this on about 4 forums, every forum has someone saying, what are the numbers. watch the video, it's at the begening. must be someting psycological that people are skipping over it for some reason . anyway, 361 hp 380 tq.

Yeah but 12 still ain't so bad, but not the 11.5 as promised :icon38:

That is alot of Trq. but like our A/F's it ain't all the same :icon43:

Dyno tune is the key. Dont rely all on the reflash.

Great video and congrats on the numbers. Are you planning on pushing it more? By tuning I mean.

not my kit, i have vortech sc. 12nv should chime in here soon. im sure he'll find the link eventually

MIAPLAYA Jul 29, 2005 04:27 PM

Dan how was AFR measured? Was it a tail pipe sensor?

backagain Jul 29, 2005 04:30 PM

yea

MIAPLAYA Jul 29, 2005 04:38 PM

Are you guys sure the sensor was ok...did it read correct for everyone else.

only 2 dynoed, the other car was a trans am. neither one of them had a wideband in the car. they said at the shop that 12.0 - 12.5 is safe , i told them i thought it was kind of lean.

Sorry, I have been a little busy. I scaned the dyno charts but..... they are on my hard drive at work. Tomorrow I will be more than happy to email them to some one if they want to post them, sorry for handing over the leg work but I am not computer savvy at all. I have the charts right in front of me if anyone has any questions for right now. I also have a chart that shows a/f, tq, rpm, and hp through the whole run. Its broken down by about every half a second give or take.

I thought it was a little lean my self. 12.1 is pushing it I suppose. Hopefully someone can figure that whole thing out. I was really happy with the tq numbers. I would've liked to see the hp a little higher but I guess that will give me something to work on. After all torque is what really gets you down the road anyways........just ask backagain!

As said earlier in the post, 12.1 isn't necessary lean. It is however, a bit more lean than the kit is supposed to run with the reflash.

Yeah worried about running lean you would be well over the 14's at WOT.

And tech. like 11 isn't as rich as some folks who have serious rides that are tuned into the 9-10's at WOT.

MIAPLAYA Jul 31, 2005 03:58 PM

Dan could you send me the dyno charts?

You realize WOT is wide open throttle which is what is done on the dyno. So where are you getting this 14:1 at WOT??? I don't know why you guys are saying that 12:1 is too lean. I know in the Honda world guys live by this chart when tuning:

I have never seen a street ride tuned to 9:1 or 10:1 at WOT.

nissansource Aug 1, 2005 06:46 AM

its not so bad just alittle higher then norm rich tune of 11.1
