Finally Dyno'd and Tuned APS TT!

Well I finally got around to getting my Z dyno'd and tuned...big suprises occured!

First of all, huge thanks to Altered Atmosphere for the great job on the tune...specifically the owner, Mike. http://www.alteredatmosphere.com

So anyways, I went expecting at least 350-370 off the bat. Turns out I was running SUPER rich...in fact, below the charts rich...under 10. Dyno number...322whp.

Mike then starting tuning the unichip, and fixing the A/F curve....After about 1-2 hours of tuning, the new whp rating in 94.5 degree weather....392.54 at a little less than 9lbs of boost WITH stock cats!!! Keep in mind also that the boost was only adjusted for about a 1/4 lb...that's it. Suffice to say, I am very happy! Here's the dyno chart:

Good to know all you needed was a little tweaking for a good amount of power :icon38:

Is that your house in the background? That is like my place and 12 of my friends combine.

btw nice numbers you're getting there.

Damn, lookin good.

Get rid of those cats! :icon44:

Nice numbers but I'm not surprised. Everyone should agree by now that 400 RWHP is safely attainable on stock internals with the APS TT.

Definitely!

Congrats! I got 442whp on a dynapack with APS test pipes, Nismo exhaust and plenum at 9lbs from Tuan/GRD in 80 degree weather, it's good to see you did 392whp on a dynojet with stock cats. :D

Great results I didnt know AA tuned Unichip. Personally be kinda worried about the 12.1 A/F at 4000rpm's I mean you have gobs of TQ at that RPM dont you think they should have richened you up a little at that point and possible a little sooner?

Oh and got anymore pics of the car?

I wouldn't worry about 12.1 unless it was near redline. Even though the motor's torque peak is around there, it's making much less heat than a higher rpm would.

;) I see, I never thought of that....
