My Temp needle is at the same place as b4 the SC install, about 3/4 of the way between the lowest and 1/2 line. It has not gone up or down. As long as the temp doesn't keep rising, I don't think you have anything to worry about.
The way the car feels when you "LEAN" into the pedal vs "Smashing" the pedal is different. (again, this is only the BUTT DYNO..nothing logged)
I'm sure that HKS has the computer "PADDED" so not to blow the motor by running lean(er).
I will have more info in the next week, after my appt w/XS-Engineering, and the install of gauge (s).

one thing i noticed today with one wot pull was that my afr on the zeit went up to 12. on another it went to 11.5. i'm going to the dyno day this sat, and i'll be able to get more accurate readings of my boost, afr, and hp at redline.

So you finally got the HKS SC installed? I remember your other posts saying it was going to stay in the garage until it became CARB approved? What does it sound like, any vids?

well, i heard it today for the first time...detonation...during a wot pull. when i redynod during a recent dyno day, the dyno afr was in the 12s, but my zeit was reading in the 10s, and i didn't hear anything abnormal at that time, so i left the spacer in place.
my plan now is to remove the spacer until i can find a tuning soln, like the utec or something, that will allow me to safely add other mods to the hks kit.
just wanted to keep you guys apprised. the hks kit appears to have a small sweet spot.
