Greddy Vs Aps TT's

Im debating on which TT set-up i should go with i want to hear some pros and cons from existing owners

Save you some trouble, people aren't gonna wanna respond because this very same question has been asked and answered over a hundred times on this board. go to the forced induction section and do a search.

I agree this has been talked about over and over.

My opinion is - if you are doing your own install, then do your research on each kit and form your own opinion.
If you are having someone else do your install, find a shop you feel good about and talk about the different kits with them, then choose.

Put them both on!

All depends on what you want. I went with a greddy kit due to it being more of a tuner kit. I am going to do an APS on my finace's car due to watercooled turbos no real need to let the turbos cool off,and a more complete out of the box kit. She wants a solid 400 rwhp car she can drive everyday and embarass the old men in there corvettes. So do a search read what people have said sit back have a beer and enjoy.

There are plenty of threads on this..The only prob you'll run into is that theres always someone talking ish and saying whats better no matter what kit you buy... Just listen to your budget and what you want.. (you dont have to take my advice for it, im still N/A ,but already did the search and read a million of them....)

what you should be asking yourself is how to yuse the search options! j/K
ive searched alot and i like the JWT TT KIT look into that

FrickU Jul 7, 2006 10:06 PM

I just drove a customers built motor with the greddy kit and i was not as impressed. There seemed to be a lot of turbo lag up until 3,700-4,000 rpm. Preferrably i would choose the JWT kit, but if greddy and Aps are the only options you are considering then i would say go with the aps

BoOsTedz33TT Jul 8, 2006 02:00 AM

put on 1 greddy turbo and 1 aps turbo

openwaste gates>internal wastegates

Yea..run the JWT kit so you can use stock injectors and stress the hell out of them by forcing way too much fuel pressure via an ancient FMU method. Sounds awesome.

Hi VRT. Man I had started to respect you guys cause of your work, but when you have a make up a screen name and promote anything JWT and VRT that's pretty lame.:icon22:

Stick with the Stock Exhaust and just save up $$$ So you can go F1

Maybe a JWT Turbo kit through VRT

It is really not worth the money in my opinion for an exhaust that costs $1000+ That only gets you about 10WHP

Save your money for something better

Yup...pretty f-ing fantastic huh?? I still don't understand what's so special about that kit.

Nismo350ZRT Jul 8, 2006 01:06 PM

I'm still waiting for the day when ppl can choose their own turbo kits by themselves. I figure hell will freeze over before that time comes.
