Oil capacity of APS TT 350z
What is the oil capacity of Z after APS oil pan install ?
same as before.... 5 quarts or else your car will smoke like a chimney due to the turbo oil drain lines.
5.3 quarts with oil filter change and 5.0 quarts without.
I have a greddy tt with an APS oil pan. I put in 6 qts every time I change the oil and oil filter. I don't smoke.
I put in 5.5 qts every oil and filter change with no problems.
I always did 5.5 or just a hair more. It just has to come up to the LOW level on your dipstick, not any higher.
I put 5 quarts in, maybe 5.5 quarts. Any more, it will increase back pressure in the oil return lines from the turbos to the point oil exit the turbo seals (APS TT kits only) and burn into smoke out your exhaust.

Then let it cool off for 15 mins. Next, i start the car and idle it about 3 mins. Wahla! Instant 1000 sq ft cloud!!! :icon17: |
