Our STS Z's COMPLETED!

We at CIN Motorsports are proud to announce that we have completed 2 STS rear mount turbo Z's.

They have been done for a little more than a month now, both with more than 2000 miles on the kit. Both are making good SAFE power, especially for being mostly stock stock besides the kit. Our 6mt car, which is using an RPS 6 puck clutch as its only other mod, is making 364rwhp and 353rwtq, although the video says 358hp, the higher power was made later.

The automatic Z is making 347rwhp and 348rwtq. His only mods besides the kit is a motordyne 5/16 spacer and ultimate high flow cats.

Both cars pull smooth to redline and do not have near the lag anyone would expect. We plan on posting install pictures in this thread sometime today. We will also be posting our PRICING and PACKAGE deals we will be offering.

Any questions, feel free to post them, PM us, or call the shop.

Here is a recent video of our STS Z's, we REALLY look forward to doing more :) http://videos.streetfire.net/search/...4e012b0039.htm

Thanks,

Bobby, Matt, and Derek

These cars I belive were at Rockingham Drag strip this past weekend? I think they were running in the high 12's. Are these the cars that came out of the shop?

+1 for prices!!

Did they redesign the charge air pipes as per MRC's modifications? Or did those cars get the original STS design?

Yeah the red auto was there :)

Both cars still have the "old" charge pipe set up.

Looks like the manual Z's A/F flatlines near or on 12.1 from 4.5K to redline. :icon9: Was the tune on 100 oct?

Good show! It's good to see more local shops popping up.

I can understand how it would look like that in that tiny dyno graph on the video, but it's actually 11.7/11.8 on pump 93 octane

Thanks Eagle :)

I Would Like To See The Manual Vs. The Auto Just To See What Happens. The Manual Has More Hp But The Auto Stays In Boost Between Shifts.

It looks like 11.8-12.0 to me. Most tuners would consider that not safe on the stock motor (depending on other factors such as timing, etc).

I think that video don't do justice to the sound. It sound really sick if you are behind the car. Mine is even louder after 400miles of hard driving.:icon18:

abyss Jun 20, 2007 12:10 PM

Not bad

DanielW Jun 20, 2007 02:35 PM

yeah its hard to capture the sound on video
