What Don't Want To Do On Sat

Try do to tighten things up with the Greddy Kit on there. I had to tighten the trans bolts up and it was a pain with the wastegates and exhaust being so close.

was your tranny off or motor apart ever where the little bolts would have been taken off ??

Converter bolts are definatly a "Loc Tite and torque in sequence" item

How much harder is it to remover the AT trans with a greddy kit installed? I plan to to a torque converter upgrade and would rather not have to remove the waste gates etc. From what I can tell with out the TT kit installed it looke like it will be tighter to get to the trans bolts but not a major issue?

HARD. I had to remove the intake manifold, passengers side wastegate, passenger side exhaust, crossbrace, subframe, driveshaft, etc etc. I don't think you'll be able to keep the wastegate in because there is a trans bolt that is very hard to get to. I would recommend just removing it cause it will make things easier. Let me know if I can help you out any more.

Yes, I had an SFR trans and converter put in when my motor and turbo kit went in.

It would be easier to remove the entire front clip of the car and pull the entire motor/trans out the front. I've done it twice in my garage.

+1. Pulling the front clip is a LOT easier than dropping the tranny. Takes a few hours, but is fairly straight forward and can be done in the garage on jackstands...
