What’s up guys and gals? We have been SOO busy for the past few months that we have not been on the site hardly at all and have not kept you guys updated as to what we had going through the shop. So, without further adieu…

One of our customers from the Cayman Islands sent us this Nissan V35 Skyline… But is it live, or is it Memorex???

Pretty sweet fog lights and lip too, n’est-ce pas?

He imported it from Japan to the Caymans, then had it shipped to Miami, where it was then put on a car hauler and sent to us. The Syclone next to it was gracious enough to show it some “old-school domestic turbo lovin’” while the Syclone was still here. “Arrigatou Gozaimasu!”

Talk about role reversal – an AWD domestic turbo PICKUP TRUCK next to a rear-drive non-turbo Skyline! Como se dice’ “WTF?” LOL…

Personally, I think they should have used those seats on the Infinitis too as they are _really_ nice looking. They have suede inserts where your legs and derriere are as you can see, but they also have that same suede in the center between the bolsters on the front AND rear seats. Nice. They are also little cooler for the Texas heat as well. That is a factory Momo steering wheel too…

WHY can we not get all of the cool Japanese wheels here!?! Can you say “caliper clearance???” I knew you could!

As you have probably guessed by now, the customer did not go to the expense of shipping the car to us for an oil change! We have a HUGE project on our hands for the next few months with this one as he is going B I G .

Stay tuned! (literally! Because the alternative sucks!)

i think it might be from one of those cameras that views everything backwards. sometimes my digital does that. the picture will snap opposite of what it really is. i was wondering that when i saw it too...

I agree. It is most definitely "wack".

No, I think it's really on that side of the car. ;)

What is the other project, Thomas?

haha maybe. i saw it, and was like, "huh?"...i figured it might be the camera, but that it might have been the car as well. i've never even seen a picture of that kind of car with a steering wheel on that side before. i guess i have now. ;)

The car was imported (from what he said), so its on that side.

He imported it from Japan to the Caymans, then had it shipped to Miami

:icon17: I called that number about a year ago (or whenver that cd came out.) it is a non-working number.

QuadCam Aug 31, 2007 04:13 PM

you don't see many syclones around. I had a 93 Typhoon back in '93. That Typhoon would break necks. I don't know why, but everyone had a thing for the typhoon. It was a total POS though..........a parts bin car to say the least.
