Z Turbo Manifold.. Where can I find one? Will a 300zx's work?
 

I want to turbo my z... has any done it with out buying a kit?? has anyone ever looked at a 300zx's manifold?

You know what, none of us ever thought about buying 300ZX manifolds and testing them on our Z, damn you are so bright son, I say give it a go and say how it worked out :icon44:

im almost 100% sure the 300zx manifolds will not fit a 350z with out some serious modification.

+1 considering they are two completely different engines. Dont go with a custom turbo. You will end up spending way more in the end with less reliability.

Why would it be any less reliable? As long as you don't have Mineke do it and go with someone that knows what they are doing or if you know what you are doing yourself it will be just as reliable as anything else.

The problem is finding someone who is reliable. Should have worded it better. There is a reason why there aren't even a handful of custom turbo setups out there.

Damn, I though you would mess a bit with that guy, not just give him a straight answer that fast :p

i have jigs that we made of the APS turbo manifolds so that we could make thickwall tubular versions of it at any time. we havent done anything with it tho, and not sure if we ever will.... we just used a chance we had to jig it up just in case.
