AAM fuel return system RC injector's problem
As you all now, Denso injectors, as well as the RCs are much larger than the APS injectors.
As a result the AAM fuel rails must be fitted with three distance spacers on the mounting brackets. The problem is that when you do this, the fuel rail lifts up too much and unfortunately interferes with the underside of the cast APS intake manifold !.... I tried to fit the stock fuel rail too, to see if the fit is better. It is, but the intake manifold still cannot be tightened, there’s a 5mm gap. Thanks George |
either get a motordyne lower plenum spacer which will raise the lower plenum a bit and/or grind away where the rails touch on the lower plenum.

I have made a CNC spacer. Assembled and now is working perfectly. Thanks for the info.
