Unichip, vortech HELP

Ok first off I got a full kit for a 06 350z automatic. so non rev-up

here the part I need help with. kit came with unichip. but no instruction for unichip set up. Went to there website. they have instruction that dont look like my set up.

So what I need help with is, the plug with the red and brown wire. Where do I plug that to. Does it go to the square unichip box, or the Plug and play box.

Then how the hell did yall run that short ass brown wire to the fuel relay. Also anyone have picture of there fuel relay, so I can make sure Im running things right.

Please help. Im so close to being done.

Hmm...I don't know for sure, but I think the unichip kit is for revup kits only...

Is is possible that you got a revup kit?

everything else was made for the non rev up for use. I didnt know that the unichip was only for rev up. well me being 06 would that make a differences. I dont know. it was on the part list in the book under my car and stuff. what is non post to get

Hmmm...I saw the latest version of the manual...I see the non-revup unichip...

Unfortunately, I also see that they didn't include instructions on how to install the unichip into a non-revup...I have a feeling that the wire color scheme for a 2006 revup ECU vs non-revup is different. I definitely know that the wire colors from a revup vs non-revup 03-05 is a little different (I know this because I was originally going to install a SS box on my revup vortech; I'm not fond of the unichip and its tuneability)...

BTW I ended up doing Osiris instead of the SS box...

I didn't know you made a thread bro.

Do you have a code reader? if don't, stop by local autozone and scan it. Check MAF housing first tho.

You don't have a manual yet? i thought you asked vortech to send you one. You also can find one on their website .

I think 'tylerxfire' installed full kit, he might can help you out. :icon44:

Edit: incase if you need to understand about the code, here is a list.

Hey buddy. man your always up. I didnt get a chance to go to store yet. they were close by the time I was done. man it running slower then stock. what you think it could be.

What you mean by Check MAF housing first tho.

I kind of think maybe my fuel pump relay is not working. I dont really hear when the inline fuel pump kick on. I ground it and force it one and it loud when its working. but its not doing anything when car is one.

And the manual I dont have is for the unichip. but I think I got it going right. not sure. maybe thats why my relay not working. haha. hoping just bad relay.

also where is our obd2 plug so I can show them. oh and how much is that code read you got.

str8dum1 03-29-2009 04:12 AM

just check teh code for free and in 1 minute from home

1. Confirm that accelerator pedal is fully released, turn ignition switch “ON” and wait 3 seconds.
2. Repeat the following steps (2a and 2b) procedures quickly five times within 5 seconds.
2a. Fully depress the accelerator pedal (HARD).
2b. Fully release the accelerator pedal.
3. Wait 7 seconds, fully depress the accelerator pedal and keep it for approx. 10 seconds until the CEL starts blinking.

count the blinks. 10 blinks is a 0, 1 blink is 1, etc etc..

Then cross reference the # to this https://my350z.com/forum/maintenance...d-generic.html
