Installation
* We are the parts supplier, not mechanic. We can try our best to help with generic questions, but it is best to consult a professional turbocharger installer with specific questions.
* There are no installation instructions included. The install is simple and most customers install it themselves in a weekend. If you cannot figure it out or feel uncomfortable with the installation, please have a professional assist.
* Most of these parts are direct bolt-ons. Some are not.
o The piping needs to be fitted up. Because of the bends and couplers included, it should be simple.
o The T3 turbo flange needs to be welded to an adapter pipe or directly to the stock manifold.
o To run this on a street car, the turbocharger down pipe will need to be connected to your existing exhaust. Expect to fabricate an adapter pipe or have an exhaust shop connect them.
For example, this is a down pipe:

Ebay is a decent internet auction shop and the numbers appearing in it are real and can not be altered or tricked in some way. Taking for sure that this is true (any objections ?) this guy have sold staff to 5935 different people including many many many turbo kits. 99.5% out of them received their staff and are happy from the complete transaction . Only 23 have complained for some reasons. Its called “Feedback Profile” , please check

Initially I was amazed by the number of posts some people had under their accounts, now I know
People that get offended or annoyed or irritated or frustrated or cheesed off, my apologies but please don’t! This thread is opened so I can find some answers from people that are willing to think in a slightly different way and share a couple of things with me and many others here. If you don’t like it please ignore it and don’t post a joke (people under 15 are excluded), Im sure you can find a suitable forum to express you humor elsewhere. We’ve reached page 4 and there were only 2-3 good points so far.
thanks

Ok OP we get it, you are gonna do this and shut us all up. BUT.....If and when your motor gets blown to pieces do not, I repeat DO NOT make a thread complaining about it. So when you have your cost effective turbo kit, let us know how cost effective it was when you buy another motor or sell the car.

You havent answered any legitimate questions about your plans.... lets start here.
DO you expect this kit to have the proper piping??
do you have past experience making/installign turbo kits on our cars??
Do you know what you are looking for when you get this kit??
what kind of turbo is in the kit?? do you know the specs?? is capable of what you are looking for powerwise??
if it fits ten other cars why would you even waste your time buying there kit?? why not just buy 2 turbos from garret and make your own piping?? then at least you wouldnt be wasting parts that arent gonna work.

OP, before you jump on this kit, keep in mind that the turbo should be properly selected for your size motor and target HP. If it is not, you will run into problems.
Do yourself a HUGE favor and go here:
http://www.turbobygarrett.com/turbob...ch_center.html
Study Turbo Tech 101, Turbo Tech 102, and especially Turbo Tech 103, until you FULLY understand this information. Especially learn how to use the compressor map. If you are not technical enough to understand it, or too lazy to spend the time to learn it, then you should not be attempting to use a generic turbo kit on your car.
If you are adamant about using that ebay turbo kit, first request a copy of the compressor map for the turbo. Then, run through the calculations provided by Garrett to make sure it will work properly for your size motor and your target HP. You do not want to be running the turbo with the air flow less than that identified by the surge line in the compressor map, or with the air flow greater than that identified by the choke line, for a given boost level. If you do, you likely will have issues. Ideally, you want to be operating in, or close to, the higher efficiency zones.
If the seller cannot provide you a compressor map, then that should be a very good indication that you should look elsewhere.
Here is a sample of a compressor map, with identifiers on it showing the various parts of the map:

for arquements sake

You havent answered any legitimate questions about your plans.... lets start here.
DO you expect this kit to have the proper piping??
with a welder and some couplers, yes
do you have past experience making/installign turbo kits on our cars??
doesnt take a genius to bolt on some pipes in a manner in which they dont rub
Do you know what you are looking for when you get this kit??
what listed in the ad
what kind of turbo is in the kit?? do you know the specs?? is capable of what you are looking for powerwise??
Turbo specs as listed previously
Compressor Wheel
A/R: 0.7 Cold Side || Ind: 54 mm || Exd: 70 mm || Trim: 52
Turbine Wheel
A/R:0.64 || Ind: 46.2 mm || Exd: 52.8 mm || T25/T28 Flange
so about the same size as GT2871, so 370-400hp, which would be just fine for our cars regardless of the boost map
if it fits ten other cars why would you even waste your time buying there kit??
because a turbo kit is just a bunch of pipes attached to the exhaust manifold. couplers, welder, and maybe a pipe bender will make it all fit.
why not just buy 2 turbos from garret and make your own piping?? then at least you wouldnt be wasting parts that arent gonna work.
which parts wont work? In essence you are telling him to buy exactly what he is buying, minus the name brands. He's buying a tube kit, turbo, BOV, wastegate, etc

str8dum1 I knwo it for arguments sake but do you really think that there will be enough piping/right size/lengths that he can just bend and weld??
and as he said in the beginning he hasnt done this before so would you really suggest a rookie make his own kit??
