seems like you wanted to just bust someones balls....
should be in the tuning section anyhow.. |
Not at all... Just want to show the Facts.
Also One of the Tuners here asked for Vortech guys to post of their Tunes, so I did. |
great numbers man, thanks for posting
what program was used to record that data? |
This community is full of overbuilders and people that want to believe the extra parts they have are needed.
|
oldmanz, do you have stock engine w/ that setup?
|
Totally Stock.....

Your A/F ratio looks pretty good and consistent.
Were these logged on a Dynojet? At the tail pipe or bung pre cat? I finally installed my Tuner TXS wide band and have not do any data log yet but my A/F ratios at the display are 1 point rich over the ones logged in the dyno. I had low 11’s on the dyno pull and low 10’s in the wide band. Should I adjust through the wide band? |

What do your exhaust tips look like? black? clean? do you wipe them out often so you can monitor fuel? |

Nice numbers. I do see that you have >12 AFRS till mid 5k rpms and around boost of 9. Isn't that a bit dangerous on the engine? Obviously your running great on your stock engine.

Makes me want to go 2.87

no. 11.8-12.1 is perfect for power and safety. anything richer is leaving power on the table.

Everything is Relative........ Every Dyno is Different..... Nobody with 1/2 a brain would Dyno a car in Joe blows Shop in Summer and make say 450whp, make some modifications and then in Winter, Dyno in Sam Tucks Shop and make say 480whp. Then say "I made 30whp with those modifications." When you can Post Up some 118 MPH Plus Traps on a 80-85 degree day in Humid Florida, Then I will say your making the same power.... But then, all tracks are Different Too. Et can vary .040-.060 and 3-4 mph between tracks |
